Biedronka competition

Project: Biedronka - SMS, WWW and mobile competition
Duration: 01.10 – 28.10.2012
Purpose: To increase the sales levels in Biedronka network – promotion of the 2000th store.
Applied solution: Competition via SMS, WWW and mobile (WAP) channels.
Description:
Digital Virgo delivered at the request of MEC a service to handle the competition for Biedronka network. The period of competition: from 01.10 to 28.10.2012.
Mechanism:
  • Send the name of your favourite product and explain why:
  • WWW - www.2000sklepow.pl 
  • SMS - 81020 (0,12 zł)
  • WAP - m.2000sklepow.pl 
  • The answers are evaluated by a competition board.
  • The winners are informed by SMS or phone call. 
  • The winners are announced on WWW page on a current basis.
Tasks of Avantis:
  • To prepare an application to handle SMS, WWW and mobile (WAP) entries
  • To maintain a database integrating three entry channels
  • To provide a dedicate SMS Premium number
  • To provide a panel to verify entries
  • To prepare a system of online reports available on WWW page
  • To inform the winners (SMS + phone call)
  • To handle complaints.
Prizes:
  • 2000 vouchers for 100 zł
  • 80 vouchers for 200 zł
  • A total of PLN 399 996 (together with prizes to over the tax)
